Prototyping, 3D Design and Printing

We specialize in helping customers with a unique concept and unsolved problems.  In doing so we create prototypes to solve the problem and create something that didn’t exist before.  Some of these prototypes are as complex designs such as a drilling rig or as simple as a single part. Prototype testing is based on the applicable design as well as any governmental regulatory or other criteria required.  Typically, the purpose of the 3D printer is to print prototypes and scaled down models of design proposals.  We have an in-house 3D printer for small scale jobs and can outsource for larger requirements.

Printing 3D prototypes and models go one step beyond presenting a 3D graphic model or animation. It brings the product to life and lets you hold it in your hand. In addition, if the prototype is printed with the desired finished product material, it can in turn be load tested and the recorded results can be compared to numerical calculations and FEA’s for comparison and validate of the design. Machining, forging or molding of prototypes are very costly relative to 3D printing.
